Experience
I am currently a professor of Nutrition at North Shore Community College. I teach Nutrition and Health Aspects of aging in the classroom but also oversee students who are completing the course as an independent study. I tutored my peers in high school in mathematics. I took both AP English and Calculus in high school and sat for both exams, scoring high enough to advance through those classes in college. I served as a teacher's assistant and lab tutor in college for introductory biology courses. I now enjoy teaching at the college level. Working as a dietitian I have taught extensively in the community to all ages and education levels. Prior to my career in dietetics I worked in pharmaceutical research.

Hobbies
When I'm not teaching, I enjoying chasing my kids around our "homestead." We have a flock of chickens, a rapidly growing herd of goats and a list of DIY projects that will keep us busy from here to eternity! I also enjoying leading music at my church and being involved in my community theater.
